Senior Vice President of Growth


 Southeast-based manufacturer and marketer of medical devices.


The Senior Vice President of Growth will report directly to ­­­­the President and lead a team of approximately 50 who are responsible for marketing, sales, customer service, and education.


The Senior Vice President of Growth will partner with the President to develop and implement growth strategies that will drive revenue growth and profitability for the company, as well as oversee and work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer service, and customer product education. This position will be an integral member of the senior leadership team and be office-based at the company headquarters located in the Southeast US.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with demonstrated hands-on experience in spearheading growth initiatives and driving improvements within an organization. This person will be able to see the big picture for high-level strategy and also see the more detailed and tactical needs and develop plans to meet the objectives for all. The Senior Vice President of Growth will be focused on finding innovative, creative solutions to grow the business, including the development of new customers, retention of existing customers, identifying new areas of opportunity, as well as mentoring, developing, and creating synergy among the teams.

Specific mission-critical duties will include, but not necessarily be limited to:

  • Set and achieve revenue and profit performance objectives; analyze data to determine best practices and opportunities for growth.
  • Increase revenue to fuel expansion and product development.
  • Build client base and nurture existing relationships.
  • Develop strategic planning for marketing and customer service, including best-in-class customer service and ongoing product education for the company’s clients.
  • Oversee the building and growth of the marketing, sales, customer service, and client education teams; monitor the teams for areas of improvement and development.
  • Ensure that strategic initiatives are implemented effectively and consistently across the business and that marketing messages align with the brand.
  • Create a marketing plan with a strong emphasis on the business’s current stage, values, and objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Study and evaluate competitors’ strategies to continue to grow the company’s position as market leader.


  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, growth, marketing, and/or customer service; preferably multiple years in a leadership role managing a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in, with concrete examples of, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Ability to articulate the monetization of a marketing campaign and the sales impact for the business; must be driven by metrics and KPIs.
  • Analytical and innovative mindset, driven to find creative solutions; ability to gather and analyze data; detail-oriented, problem-solver.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation; ability to communicate with, and influence, all levels of the organization; comfortable presenting to customers and executive leadership.
  • Proactive self-starter able to work well on own, with the ability to transition smoothly into team settings; able to communicate and collaborate successfully with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness at managing change while keeping a team engaged and focused.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and team-building experience, including creating innovative compensation plans/incentives to develop and motivate teams.
  • Goal-driven, able to meet and exceed goals, with a continuous improvement mindset to move the business closer to achieving/exceeding set objectives.
  • Domain experience in Health and Wellness.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to travel, including two annual trade shows, and monthly visits to sales territories/the field or as needed; may include occasional travel to Canada.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field required; MBA or other related advanced degree is a plus.


Compensation will be commensurate with experience including a competitive base salary, bonus opportunity, competitive benefits package, and relocation assistance.
