REPORTS/RELATIONSHIPS:
This position will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and will supervise a National Accounts Manager and a National Accounts Coordinator.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The Director of National Accounts is responsible for developing new business-to-business accounts across the United States and Canada to help drive business to the franchise community. The position is aimed at assisting the LINE-X network to secure and perform commercial upfit work and scale a rapidly growing facet of the LINE-X business.

Specific duties will include, but not necessarily be limited to:

  • Develop new accounts across the United States and Canada to help drive national fleet business to LINE-X’s network of franchisees and upfitters.
    • Identify ways to gain greater share with existing client relationships.
  • Plan and manage departmental events, trade shows, industry marketing, and other efforts to educate industry decision-makers about LINE-X’s fleet capabilities.
    • Work with the marketing team to spearhead trade activities, newsletters, advertising, and publications.
  • Build and sustain relationships with franchise partners while learning technical and operational knowledge.
    • Have superior verbal presentation and written skills to communicate effectively to both groups and individuals as needed.
  • Drive the growth goals and measurement objectives of the department and company.
  • Communicate with internal and external contacts, including the marketing team, franchise partners, regional managers, national account manager, customer service representatives, technical support, fleet client managers, and leadership.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of three years’ sales experience; over five years preferred.
  • Motivated self-starter with a “can do” attitude.
  • A team player who can work seamlessly across the organization.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing a sales team.
  • Experience in the automotive industry highly desired.
  • Able to travel four to six times per year.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

COMPENSATION:
Compensation will be commensurate with experience including a competitive base salary, bonus opportunity, and competitive benefits package.
