The Situation:

A regional managed care organization partnered with CLCB to recruit a Chief Information Officer to lead a substantial multi-year technology transformation. Following the successful completion of the search, CLCB was subsequently retained for several additional executive team member searches.

The Process:

The CLCB search team conducted a comprehensive listening tour with the CEO, key members of the executive team, outside consultants, and functional team members through a series of on-site meetings. As a result, a detailed position description, search strategy, and ideal candidate profile were produced to create alignment between CLCB and client. Through deep industry research and aggressive sourcing, the CLCB team recruited and presented a well-rounded slate of candidates and partnered closely with the client to conduct rigorous evaluation of finalist candidates, ultimately resulting in a successful close of the search in 73 days.

The Results:

CLCB successfully recruited a sitting CIO with direct industry experience to lead a technology function of over 100 team members. The individual spearheaded a comprehensive assessment of existing platforms and capabilities, the development of a technology strategy which ultimately led to a robust transformation to modernize and integrate technology into each interaction with the customer.
