Stacy’s grandfather, who raised thoroughbreds in Ocala, FL, owned one of the first foals sired by Needles, the first Florida-bred horse to win the Kentucky Derby in 1956. Needles also won the Belmont Stakes that year.

Stacy Adams

A former banker and tax preparer controls the purse strings at Coleman Lew Canny Bowen. Stacy joined the company in 2018 after three years at Pesta Finnie & Associates, where she provided financial planning and tax planning and preparation for individuals, estates, and trusts.

Prior to joining Pesta Finnie, Stacy took time away from the corporate world to raise three children. During that time, she found her creative outlet in landscape design. Completing the design certificate program at CPCC, she spent five years producing designs for residential and commercial clients.

Previously, Stacy spent nearly a decade with Bank of America in the High-Yield Capital Markets and Leveraged Finance groups structuring debt transactions for corporate clients. After college, she spent two years as a production manager in the Dentifrice department with the Procter & Gamble Manufacturing Company.

Stacy earned her BS degree magna cum laude in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University and her MBA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She and her husband have three children.
