Two top retained executive search firms – Coleman Lew + Associates of Charlotte, N.C. and Canny, Bowen of New York – join forces to form a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
Charlotte, N.C. – Two well-regarded retained executive search firms are now aligned to form one powerful team. Coleman Lew Canny Bowen combines the talents of Charlotte-based Coleman Lew + Associates and New York-based Canny, Bowen. The team, which dates back to Canny, Bowen’s founding in 1954, will maintain offices in Charlotte and New York. Charlotte-based Shana Plott is the chief executive officer of the combined group. Plott became Coleman Lew’s first female CEO in 2016.
“Our two firms are entirely compatible, yet we each have different strengths,” Plott said. “We have known Greg Gabel, Canny, Bowen’s president, and his team for years and have, on occasion, even competed against them.
