Prior to joining Coleman Lew Canny Bowen, Andy Simmons spent several years in the expert network industry at Ridgetop Research, engaging c-suite executives and their direct reports across many industries worldwide.  In this role he also managed a team of recruiters and a $3M book of business, with clients spanning $100B asset managers to global consulting firms. 

A native Charlottean, Andy didn’t travel far for college, studying psychology at nearby Davidson College where he was a four-year member of the golf team.  After graduation, he spent 3 years raising expendable dollars for Davidson’s annual giving department, The Fund for Davidson, before transitioning to a youth mentorship role with Friends of the Children, a non-profit organization underneath the Thompson Child and Family Focus umbrella here in Charlotte.  In addition to his professional endeavors, Andy is active in his church and volunteers regularly at elementary schools through Heart Math Tutoring.
